When to use Superpowers.social

Choose if

An agent needs quick read-only access to X/Twitter and Reddit content (search, threads, trending news, subreddit feeds, comment trees) for research, sentiment, or current-events tasks — and you want zero setup friction. No API keys, no OAuth, no scraping rig. Free during beta makes it ideal for prototyping a social-listening agent.

Avoid if

You need posting, replying, DMs, follows, or other write actions (this MCP is read-only). Also avoid for production-critical flows that need an SLA — the beta has soft per-IP rate limits, no uptime guarantee, and pricing transition is pending. For long-term reliability, the official X API v2 + Reddit Data API give you contract-level guarantees this hosted-beta MCP cannot.

Risk Flags
